This tour will start and end in Nairobi. You will be picked up from the hotel lobby in Nairobi. The tour will be covering Amboseli, Lake Naivasha & the famous Maasai Mara, home to the Wildebeest Migration, the 7th Wonder of the World. It is home to Kenya's Big 5: The Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Leopard, and Buffalo. You will be able to enjoy a first class game viewing experience here in all the parks

Itinerary

1

Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli National park

You will be met by our representative at the airport upon arrival or at your hotel in Nairobi for a short safari breifing. Later, we leave for Amboseli National Park via the Nairobi Mombasa Highway where you will arrive in time for lunch and afternoon game run till 18:00hr. Amboseli is an excellent place to view a multitude of wildlife, including everything from Wildebeest to Giraffes to Baboons. Dinner and overnight at camp/lodge.

Day 2: Explore Amboseli National Park

Explore Amboseli National Park. Amboseli is big game country and has elephant, antelope, zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, and giraffe. Two game runs are planned today, both which will introduce you to the intense beauty and drama that fills each day here. Predators stalk the herds of grazing animals, recreating the age-old drama of life and death under the African sun in a setting so lush and beautiful. We return to our lodge or cozy camp for a steaming bath, cocktails, and a sumptuous dinner.

Day 3: Amboseli to Tsavo East National Park

Early breakfast, we depart for Tsavo East National Park arriving in time for lunch and a late afternoon game drive. The sight of dust-red elephant wallowing, rolling and spraying each other with the midnight blue waters of palm-shaded Galana River is one of the most evocative images in Africa. This, along with the 300 kilomtere long Yatta Plateau, the longest lava flow in the world, make for an adventure unlike any other in the Tsavo East. The park forms the largest protected area in Kenya and is home to most of the larger mammals, vast herds of dust –red elephant, Rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard, pods of hippo, crocodile, waterbucks, lesser Kudu, gerenuk and the prolific bird life features 500 recorded species. Day 4: Tsavo East to Nairobi

After breakfast, check out and head for your last game drive in Tsavo East before departing for Nairobi. You may choose to have a beach extension in Kenyan Coastal town of Mombasa, Malindi or in Diani Kwale County.

Important information

Soft-sided luggage or duffels are preferable to hard luggage for storage on safari vehicles within East Africa Large suitcases of dimensions greater than 24″x 17″x 7″ are impossible to store in vehicles.
And on aircraft and should not be used. (Baggage and personal effects are at owner’s risk throughout the tour and baggage insurance for members is strongly advised).
All Covid-19 guidelines observed in our safari vehicles (sanitizer & masks provided) and the camps/lodges have put in place the guidelines as per the ministry of health directives. Passengers arriving in Kenya will be asked to present a valid Covid-19 vaccination certificate & yellow fever vaccination certificate.

Kenya’s Maasai Mara and Tanzania’s Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater are among the best places in Africa to spot the Big Five: lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino. While sightings of leopards and rhinos can be more rare, our experienced guides maximize your chances by knowing where to go and when.

  • Pack lightweight, neutral-colored clothing, a warm layer for chilly mornings, a sun hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, insect repellent, binoculars, a camera, and comfortable walking shoes. Don’t forget a refillable water bottle, personal medications, and travel documents. Many lodges offer laundry services, so you can pack light.

  • Absolutely. Kenya and Tanzania are very welcoming to families, and many lodges and safari operators (like Breezy Tours and Travel) offer child-friendly accommodations, meals, and guides. Game drives are designed with safety in mind, and lodges often offer special educational activities for kids. We also provide child car seats, shorter drives, and flexible schedules for young travelers.

  • Yes, most international travelers need a visa to enter both countries. Kenya: Apply for an e-visa online at evisa.go.ke before arrival. Tanzania: You can apply online at eservices.immigration.go.tz or get a visa on arrival at major entry points. Always check the latest requirements based on your nationality before you travel.

  • The best time for safari in both Kenya and Tanzania is during the dry seasons — June to October and January to February. These months offer excellent wildlife viewing, especially the Great Migration in the Maasai Mara (Kenya) and Serengeti (Tanzania) between July and October. However, both countries are year-round destinations with different highlights in each season.
