Day 1: Nairobi – Samburu National Reserve
We will depart Nairobi in the afternoon and drive south along the Central Kenya Highlands and into the northern plains with stunning views across the slopes of Mt. Kenya.
Your first taste of wildlife encounter will arrive at Samburu National Reserve by 9:00pm This park is especially famous for the almost guaranteed sighting of the 3 cats: lion, cheetah, and leopard.
This stunning destination is relatively untouched and you can see the magnificent Ewaso Nyiro River, which supports a wide variety of game such as elephant, reticulated giraffe, buffalo, grevy’s zebra, oryx and the long necked gerenuk.

Day 2: Samburu NR – Lake Nakuru National Park
Early breakfast at the camp and check out with lunch boxes and enjoy an extended game drive in the park. Later , we depart for Nakuru via Thompson Falls. There shall be a stop to view the scenic Thompson falls at Nyahururu as well as meet with the local tribesmen of Central Kenya the Kikuyu. The drive through farming country and homesteads via the Great Rift Valley escarpment is scenic. Arrival in the evening for well-deserved rest.

Day 3: Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara
After breakfast, you will proceed Lake Nakuru Ntional Park for your game drive. Lake Nakuru is a renowned paradise for bird watchers with its high population of birds, the most famous being the thousands of flamingos which form a very beautiful deep pink coloration around the edges of the lake shore. Hence, this park is often referred to as the “Pink Lake”. Apart from the flamingos, there are also over 400 species of birds visiting the lake.
Animals can also be sighted in the park including the Rothschild’s Giraffe, Black and White Rhino, Waterbuck, Reedbuck, Lion, Buffalo, Leopard, Baboon and several other species of plains game. Lake Nakuru is also one of the few places in Africa to find wild rhinos.
Later you will drive south to reach the game abundant Masai Mara inthe evening, lunch will be served at Narok town.

Day 4: Masai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, you will leave for a full day game drive in Maasai Mara National Park. This stunning national park is home to over 3 million large mammals!
Our experienced tour guide/ driver will take you in search for the famous Big 5 among other animals: Lion, Leopard, Buffalo, Elephant, Rhino, Hyena, Cheetah, Jackal, Warthog, Giraffe, Zebra, Antelope, Wildebeest, and various bird species. Picnic lunch will be served at Mara River as you witness the famous migration.
An optional visit to a Masai village can be arranged after the game drive. Maasai warriors are famously known as the proud nomadic tribe whose legendary prowess in battle and single-handed acts of bravery in fights with the wild animals are known across the world. This visit gives a good tour of Maasai culture and you will be welcomed with a sing and dance presentation, which forms part of their daily lives and sacred rituals.

Day 5: Masai Mara – Naivasha
Enjoy a pre- breakfast game drive between 6.30 and 9 a.m after which you will return to the campsite for a hot breakfast. After breakfast, proceed to Naivasha, for an optional boat ride to Crescent Island (this is paid directly by clients there) or spend the afternoon at leisure at your hotel or by the lake seeing the sunset.

Day 6: Naivasha to Nairobi
After an early breakfast proceed to Hells Gate National Park, the only park in Kenya that you can walk or ride a bike as you view wildlife, gorges and ridges as well as hot springs and geysers. Later we depart for Nairobi with lunch enroute.
